The World of Ubiki may be small, but it makes up for it with big personalities! Meet Ubiki’s first characters from its brand new Safari line. PS: each of these fun and cute animals is named after a famous historical personality!

Leon the Lion Always brave and fearless, Leon loves to explore and go on adventurous safaris. Proudly showing off his unmistakable mane, Leon can be found on the prowl (and growl) during the day but has been known to catch a cat nap or two under the shade of an Acacia tree!

Rousseau the Rhino When is a horn not a horn? Rousseau loves questions like these, because he fancies himself a philosopher. When he’s not deep in the Tanzanian bush, chances are he’s deep in thought pondering the meaning of life (and what’s for lunch).

Cathy the Cheetah Cathy’s fast. In fact, she’s so fast you’ll be lucky to ever catch her sitting still! The world’s fastest kitty cat, it’s a joy to watch her go from zero to 60 in three seconds–assuming you can “spot” her!

Zappa the Zebra Zappa may look funny with his stripes, but he doesn’t “fret” about being different. In fact, it’s really quite black and white: they remind him of the strings on his electric guitar, perfect for blasting out riffs!

Ella the Elephant Ella’s known as the First Lady of Swing, and it’s not just because she loves to let kids “swing” on her trunk! A world-class jazz singer, you’ll hear her coming from a mile away: she puts the “big” in Big Band with her booming voice, and boy does she like to sing, sing, sing!

Woody the Warthog Why did the warthog cross the road? To eat the chicken on the other side! Okay, so Woody would never eat a chicken, but he is great at telling bad jokes! Don’t worry, though: Woody will never make fun of you, because he loves you, warts and all!

Georgia the Gazelle Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but Georgia thinks everything is beautiful! Able to skillfully wield a brush as gracefully as she moves through the savannah, Georgia’s wonderful art is truly a sight to behold!

Greta the Giraffe Lights, camera, ladders! Greta has always been larger and taller than life, which makes sense considering she’s one of Hollywood’s leading ladies. This “rising” actress loves being photographed and signing autographs for her fans–but they might need a trampoline to reach her!

Heisenberg the Hippo E may equal M C squared, but don’t call Heisenberg a square: he prefers “Perfect Polygon!” A scientist who enjoys wading in lakes of mud as much as he does through oodles of equations, uncertainty is Heisenberg’s best friend (and his middle name).
