Ever wondered what Ubiki’s Safari line might look in your own nursery or kids’ room? I’ve created a fun and Summer-y Ubiki-themed nursery by using the free room decorating site at Olioboard.com.

Olioboard doesn’t replicate your room, but it gets pretty close with a “virtual bulletin board” that lets you select from thousands of furniture pieces and decorations.

Building your own Ubiki room on Olioboard is fun and easy! Just follow these steps:

1. Register with Olioboard to create your own free account.
2. Create your own Olioboard by clicking the blue “Create A New Olioboard” button on the upper right of any page.
3. Fill out the name, set the privacy options and add any tags for your new Olioboard, and then click “Create Board And Launch Editor”.

That’s it! You’ve now got your own Olioboard room where you can add any furniture and furnishings you’d like. The editor should look something like the screenshot below:

Psst! I’ve already added some prints from Ubiki to Olioboard. When you’re in the editor, simply look for the search box to the right (next to the blue magnifying glass) and type “ubiki” to search for all my artwork. When you’ve found a piece you like, just drag it from the search box into the blank area in the middle.

This week’s inspiration appropriately comes to us from Inspire Me Baby, a website filled with inspirational pictures for baby photographers. My good friend’s wife (who just got married last month, btw — congrats again, Jerry and Jenny!) referred me to this site, which is run by her friend Zenia.

You needn’t be a photographer to appreciate Zenia’s blog, however — anyone who loves babies and beautiful pictures will have a blast visiting Inspire Me Baby. I think it’s an excellent way for moms and moms-to-be to find photographers for their own families.
